Are you ready to enter the Music Zone?
The Music Zone begins September 1, and all children from 4 years old through 5th grade are invited! At the Music Zone, children share their gifts in praise of God through singing, moving, acting, playing instruments, and creating media and visuals for worship.This year's theme is "All Nature Sings!" In the Music Zone, children worship, sing, play instruments, learn scripture and participate in special projects in the church and community. Registration is underway in the Narthex and in the church office.
The Music Zone is a fun filled music program for children 4 years old all the way through 5th grade. Children are able to participate in musical activities, crafts, and games and are able to take the skills they learn and share them in worship and song.
A Choir for Every Age
The Music Zone has three choirs for all children from 4 years old to 5th grade. All the choirs rehearse on Wednesdays from 5:00-6:00 p.m. in Kid's World (Children's Building).
- Cherub Choir: 4 & 5 year olds
- Carol Choir: 1st & 2nd graders
- Joy Notes: 3rd through 5th grade
A Handbell Choir Just for Children
Is your child interested in playing the handbells? We have our Joy Bells handbell choir for 3rd, 4th and 5th graders. Your child will learn the basics of handbells and throughout the year the Joy Bells will play in our Sunday morning worship services. The Joy Bells rehearse on Wednesday afternoons from 4:15-5:00 p.m.
