Society of St. Stephen

For more than 20 years, the Society of St. Stephen has been providing financial assistance to families in our community that God has directed to our doorstep. Once we conduct an interview and a need is determined, we give out referral assistance to other agencies and a pledge to their utility company for part of the payment. Since June of 2002, the Society of St. Stephen has helped families with part of their utility payment with over $81,000.00 in pledges to local utility companies on their behalf. Because of the generosity of our congregation and the help of God, we are blessed to be a blessing!

Society of St. Stephen meets and visits with individuals every Tuesday and Wednesday morning between 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. We have volunteer opportunities available for you with training onsite at the church. Society of St Stephen has volunteer opportunities for caring people to visit with families seeking financial assistance on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9:30 am-11: 30 am. There is also a need for friendly voices to answer the phone and check voice messages from people seeking assistance wanting to set an appointment.
