Psalm 1:1-6 (read the whole thing, it’s short)
Psalm 1:1-2 Read these two verses again. This passage talks about a person who is filled with joy that comes from the God of the universe. The question to ask yourself now is, what person is blessed/happy like this? The text gives two reasons; first, they are not influenced (or scripted) by people who constantly live contrary to God’s standards. Second, they are influenced (or scripted) by God’s Word. Not only does God’s word influence them but they delight in it and meditate on it. As you go to school today, try to be aware of what you think about throughout the day, that is what meditation is. Try to focus these thoughts on the things you know about God’s word.
