First Place 4 starts August 30
The next session will begin Monday, August 30 from 7:00-8:15 p.m., session typically last for 14 weeks. The cost for new members is $96, which includes the program materials, and the cost for returning members is $16.
If you would like to join a First Place 4 Health team but are unable to attend on Monday night, please contact Debbie Behling, 281.682.2260, to learn about other groups that meet in our area at various times.
Child care is available by appointment. If more than one member of a family wishes to attend, only one Member Kit is needed with additional Bible study books for each family member.
What's First Place 4 Health
First Place 4 Health is a Christ-centered weight loss and health management program. It involves weekly meetings, Bible studies, and development of spiritual and physical disciplines that support healthy living. Participation in First Place 4 Health encourages development of the mind, soul, body, and spirit. Matthew 6:33 is the foundation scripture for this program: "Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you."
First Place 4 Health is dedicated to providing quality information for development of a physical, emotional and spiritual environment leading to a life that honors God in Jesus Christ. As a health oriented program, First Place 4 Health shall stress the highest excellence and proficiency in instruction with a goal of developing within each participant mastery of all the basics of a lasting healthy lifestyle, so that all may achieve their highest potential in body, mind and spirit. The spiritual development of each participant shall be given high priority so that each may come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ and God's plan and purpose for each life.
